What this screen is for
Creating an account. An account keeps your check history, lets you monitor a domain, and is where DMARC report collection will land when it ships.
The free check does not go through here and never will. If all you want is to check a domain, go back to the home page - no account, no card, no email address.
What each control does
- Email address
- Where account mail goes. You will be asked to verify it.
- Password
- At least 12 characters, no character-class rules.
- Your name
- Optional. Used when somebody in your organisation looks at who did what.
- Organisation
- Optional. Your company or team name. Leave it blank and we name it after your email address - it can be changed later.
- Create account
- Submits, then sends you to email verification.
If you already ran a check
A note appears at the top of the form when this browser has run a check anonymously. Signing up moves that result onto the new account instead of losing it, and the verification screen tells you how many results moved across.
What to do next
- Verify your email - see verifying your email.
- Read plans and limits so you know what Free covers before you add domains.
What this screen does not do
It does not take payment and there is nothing to buy - billing is on the roadmap. Creating an account does not start monitoring anything on its own, because report collection is not built yet.
