Legal documents

Four documents govern the service. All four are drafts pending legal review, and each says so at the top of the page.

Draft - not yet reviewed by counsel

This document is a working draft written to be reviewed, not a binding agreement. It has not been through legal review and it does not yet govern any customer relationship. Do not rely on it. It is published here so the shape and the commitments can be checked before launch.

Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Uniworld Technologies: what the service does, what it deliberately does not promise, plans and metered usage, and how either side ends the relationship.

Privacy Policy

What personal data we hold and why, split between the account data we control and the report data we process on your behalf. Includes retention, subprocessors and your rights.

Acceptable Use Policy

What you may and may not do with the service - including the free domain check, which is public and therefore the surface most open to misuse.

Data Processing Addendum

Processor terms for report data. DMARC reports contain source IP addresses, which are personal data under the GDPR, so this is required rather than optional. Currently a stub.

Why the DPA is not optional

DMARC aggregate reports name the IP addresses of every server that sent mail claiming to be from your domain. Under the GDPR an IP address is personal data. That makes you the controller of that data and us your processor, and the relationship has to be governed by a written agreement.

Some vendors in this category treat a DPA as an enterprise upsell. We do not - if we process report data for you, the addendum applies, on every plan including the free one.
